The day I met her ...

... was a beautiful day in spring. My mother and me were invited to a cup of coffee and some smalltalk at the house of the Dash's. Mrs. Spectra Dash wrote about something to celebrate, but she didn't specify why. My mother knew the reason exactly, but she just said to me: "Be patient, Soarin. I'm sure you'll like it."
And so we flew to the spacious house on the edge of Cloudsdale. It was the first time I flew the way by my own. At this time i was able to fly for about 3 weeks, and the first one in my kindergarden group.
We visit the Dash's quite frequently, maybe 10 times a year. All the times before i was sitting on my Mom's back. Mrs. Dash and my mom were classmates and are still very good friends. Her husband is a head of department in the weather factory of Cloudsdale. I've only seen him once on Mrs. Dash's birthday party last year. Being a executive in such a huge factory is a great responsibility and he sometimes works 14 hours a day. but it's the reason why the Dash's are that wealthy, not everypony can afford such a big mansion.
So we came to their house and I was exhausted like s*!t ... After a refreshing glass of orange juice i was very curiuos about the surprise. "What is it? What is it?" I asked repeatedly. Mrs. Dash laughed and guided me and my mother over the balcony to the living room. "Just go in, the surprise in somewhere in the playpen." She said.
"A playpen?" I wondered, "Does that mean...? Oh". I immediately galloped towards it, eager to see whatever i was about to see in there. First i saw nothing but a bunch of pillows, plushies and blankets while i was standing at the grid bars, just some gentle breathing noises came to my ear.
Something was moving under one of the blankets. I knocked at a grid bar with my hoof several times to wake the thing up. The movements increased and suddenly something coming out from under the piece of cobalt cloth. I was able to identify this as a hoof, a tiny and light cerulean hoof. The one hoof then tossed the blanked away. I couldn't belive my eyes, never before i've seen such a cute thing. A blue baby pegasus with rainbow colored mane and tail, nearly exact like her mother. I was quite sure that she was a mare, because of the form of her head, which she quickly turned in my direction. She was looking at me with her violet eyes and a smile on her face.
I will never be able to forget these moments. My future wife in the age of only a few days. I'd say it was destiny...
